Job Summary
INW Solutions is growing our sales organization and is seeking unique individuals for an Account Manager position in Virginia Beach. The Account Manager will increase revenue and capture market share through effective selling into existing and net-new accounts. Account Managers are responsible for business development, new account acquisition, achieving sales targets, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction within an assigned territory. Important activities include anticipating customer needs by proactively gauging customer requirements, responding to customer requests, preparing proposals, and developing solutions from available offerings. Our Account Managers earn a competitive base salary, exceptional commissions, and benefit plans.

You will work with a team of amazing people to sell products and services and build tactical skills with our internal and external systems. This is an extremely important role in the organization to help ensure an outstanding customer experience and help INW acquire and retain customers.
The Account Manager is an independent, motivated, and organized person. it is important that candidates have a strong understanding of the business model to ensure ultimate success.
Essential Functions
- Work effectively with Management to meet and exceed sales goals
- Work closely with team members, vendors, and clients to ensure highest quality customer experience
- Follow processes to ensure efficiency and continuity
- Develop a thorough understanding of INW’s products and services portfolio, primarily focused on Cisco and Meraki solutions
- Acquire an in-depth understanding of prospective clients’ business challenges and opportunities
- Provide outstanding communication, both written and verbal, to ensure continued success and development of client relationships
Responsibilities
Demand generation
- Call upon prospective clients to uncover new opportunities
- Execute marketing/demand generation plan
Opportunity Management
- Keep all data updated with within CRM application
- Register deals with vendors
Client / Vendor Interaction
- Answer emails and calls from clients, add to task list if outstanding
- Send reports and information to clients and management as directed
- Schedule meetings, calendar invites, and WebEx meeting information
- Lead client meetings to understand client business outcomes and propose appropriate solutions to meet goals
Quoting / Ordering
- Utilize Programs and Promotions to get INW / Client best price
- Help manage, track and follow-up on action items from meetings
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in related field
- Working knowledge of the most current technologies and products used in the industry
- Experience working with CRM applications, Microsoft Office Suite, and web-based portals
Preferred Education and Experience
- Previous Outside sales experience – three or more years of outside information technology sales experience (customer facing)
- Previous experience working for and/or selling for a Value-Added-Reseller and/or in the Technology industry
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
