Exciting opportunity to be a part of our growing Commercial Interiors team in the San Francisco market.

To be considered, the ideal candidate would be within reasonable commuting distance of our San Francisco retail showroom (685 Seventh Street, San Francisco, CA 94103) as regular visits to the showroom will be required. B2B experience within the market is prefered.

As our Commercial Interiors Account Manager, your customers will include architects, purchasing agents and interior designers who are working on both large and small-scale commercial projects. You are comfortable in a sales-oriented business-to-business relationship and confidently engage in conversations with other design professionals. You will play an important role in offering customized services that are as unique as the customers we serve.

This role has a strong administrative component as our Account Managers manage the process from start to finish including purchase orders, contracts and collection of final payments. You bring a superior commitment to follow through and keeping customers informed and you’re diligent with the details surrounding large sales transactions. Our Commercial Interiors Project Coordinators fully embrace technology within their workday to support their productivity and enhance the customer experience.

Reporting to the Business Customer Experience Manager and working within an agile environment, you will leverage the Room & Board assortment to find the best options for hospitality and commercial environments. Room & Board fosters an environment of curiosity and learning where you are encouraged to strengthen your design confidence and grow in understanding of the breadth and depth of our product offerings.

Job Location:
San Francisco, This position will primarly work remote with regular meetings in the showroom for ongoing training and relationship building.

Salary: $70000 - $85000 / year.
Salary is based on experience / qualifications

Additional position requirements & qualifications:
  • 3+ years of B2B experience, building relationships and managing large projects
  • Previous sales / account management experience preferred
  • Experience with design – interior, architecture, space/floor planning, etc. – background preferred
  • Availability to work M-F from 8:30AM– 5:00PM.
