ARE YOU WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR?
- You have experience in accounting and real estate bookkeeping (CPA preferred, but not required - additional compensation available the right CPA!)*
- You believe in paperless accounting, as much as possible
- You have great tech skills and the ability to learn new software applications quickly.*

WHAT WILL YOUR DAY LOOK LIKE?*
- You will work closely with company leadership and will be an integral part of our growing Accounting Department
- You will use software such as Quickbooks Online, Buildium, and Google Workspace
- You will be supported by a real estate CPA expert, another in-house accountant, and administrative staff*
- Maintain bookkeeping for a large real estate/property management organization*
- Manage a high volume of daily transactions*
- Responsible for accounts payable and accounts receivable entries
- Bank account reconciliations*
- Ledger overview and maintenance of all rental owners/resident statements*
- Security Deposit handling*
- Payroll processing & hour overview*
- Tax filing, disbursements, and more (as related to CRP/1099)*
- Other opportunities based on experience and ability

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Rochester, MN 55901: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
- Accounting/Bookkeeping Education (AS, BS, additional compensation available for a licensed CPA)
Experience:
- QuickBooks: 1 year (Preferred)
