Our client is adding an Accountant to its accounting department. As the Accountant reporting to the Controller, your responsibilities will include
- Providing management with financial information by researching and analyzing accounts and preparing financial statements
- Assisting with month-end closing procedures
- Tracking and collections of accounts receivable
- Prepares financial statements by gathering and analyzing information from QuickBooks accounting system
- Provides accounting support to Controller by reviewing financial information, preparing financial statements, and assisting with month-end closings
Skills/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's in accounting required
- Minimum of 2 years of applicable accounting experience
- Solid G/L accounting background
- Proven knowledge of QuickBooks
- Skilled at creating, tracking, and maintaining financial reports
- Understanding of accounting codes and balance sheet accounts
- Proficiency in creating and maintaining Excel spreadsheets
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to spot any abnormalities
- Must be deadline-oriented
- Attention to detail, confidentiality, and excellent communication skills a must
