Job description
- Merchandising and retail support for all accounts. Execute store sets; work with warehouses for product placement.
- Maintain all Point-of-Sales material.
- Ensure all retail stores have the proper Smithfield and Private Label items on the shelves in order to increase product distribution.
- Assists with promotions and executing advertising campaigns.
- Develop relationships at store, wholesale and manufacturing levels.
- Utilize market data (rankings, sales trends, etc) to improve placement and retail support.
- Coordinate demos and training, to incorporate product knowledge, merchandising and food safety, as necessary.
- High School Diploma and 3+ years relevant experience required.
- Bachelor’s degree, preferred.
- Knowledge of Spreadsheet, Word Processing, and Sales software.
- Planning, organization, and execution skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong decision-making and problem solving skills.
- Ability to travel 100% of the time.
- Customer service and organizational skills
- Current driver’s license and clean record, required.
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
- Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment.
- Ability to be respectful, approachable and team oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment.
