Position Summary:
The Accountant will apply the principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports by compiling information, preparing profit and loss statements, and utilizing appropriate accounting control procedures. This position is responsible for championing the accounts payable process, as well as supporting the programmatic billing processes. The Accountant will also proactively identify and troubleshoot financial problems, and recommend, design, and implement department controls and procedures as needed.

Position Requirements:

• Associates in Accounting is required. Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Prior experience in accounting and/or finance, preferably in a non-profit or social services field.
• Prior experience using accounting software; QuickBooks or Financial Edge experience is a plus.
