Job description

Seeking Accountant for a manager position: experienced, that will assist in all aspects of financial reporting and analysis. Responsibilities include financial reporting models, G/L reconciliations, monthly closing, and supervision of other accounting staff. Knowledge of cost accounting and payroll a plus.

Successful candidate must have a BS Degree in Accounting, with 7 years of relevant experience preferably in a manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will have experience making all month-end closing entries and completion of the month-end close. After making the appropriate entries, they will have the skill and experience reconciling accounts, including cash and A/R and making appropriate adjustments. The candidate should also have experience with banking transactions including the wiring of funds. The candidate should also possess a superior skill and demonstrated ability in EXCEL.
