Accountant
PrideStaff Financial is in search of a qualified Accountant with experience in the Sage software for a large agricultural operation located in Clovis, California. The accountant will work closely with both the Controller and Financial Advisor to oversee audits, assist with reconciliation of the AP and AR department, as well as track and monitor spending.
Job Duties:
· Prepare and review financial documents
· Advise on general accounting procedures
· Assist with computing taxes and preparing returns
· Maintain and update financial records
· Analyze budgets with upper management
· Reconcile bank statements
· Month-End reporting
· General Ledger
· Prepare and oversee internal and external audits
· Apply new principles when needed
Qualifications:
· Minimum 2 years in a staff or general accountant role
· Bachelor Degree preferred, not required
· Sage Software experience is required
· Strong communication skills both verbal and written
· Microsoft Suite proficient
· High attention to detail
