Position Summary:

The Staff Accountant is responsible for any and all balance sheet reconciliations, preparation and posting of journal entries, cash audits and applicable Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) key controls. Other duties include reporting daily statistics, expense analysis, industrial billing and American Express statement review. Other duties as assigned by the Accounting Supervisor.

Qualifications

Position Requirements:

None

Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent work experience.

1 - 2 years accounting experience

Ability to be self-sufficient and able to complete projects with minimal supervision. Must be able to multi-task and have strong organizational skills and possess strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Must demonstrate basic accounting knowledge (chart off accounts, journal entries and financial reports).
