Where you'll work:

Our hybrid workplace model offers the freedom to work fully remote or occasionally in one of our offices. This is a remote position with a hybrid option for candidates based in Tampa, FL.

How you'll contribute:

The Accountant-Regulatory Reporting opportunity is responsible for coordination with internal stakeholders for information reported (i) within SEC filings for SEC registrants and (ii) within GAAP financial statements and other external reports for non-public entities, as well as analysis of such information for completeness and accuracy.

In this role, you'll get to:
  • Prepare documentary support for all reported information, which includes business data, core financial statements, footnote disclosures, schedules as applicable
  • Assist with collection of, and preparation of support for, ad hoc requests for financial data used by various internal and external stakeholders
  • Assist with other quarterly and year-end financial reporting tasks, such as status assessments, submission and production tracking, metrics, due diligence over internal controls and key information
  • Involvement in project management whereby reporting objectives are continuously evaluated in relation to ongoing projects and changes in accounting guidance.


We're looking for people who have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • 0-2 years of experience in Accounting and Financial Services
  • Knowledge of and experience in financial reporting (e.g., standard reporting, ad hoc reporting, slice-and-dice and drill-down reporting) to perform detailed analysis of financial statements
  • Proficient using Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Workiva Wdesk and experience with SAP and Analysis for Microsoft Office a plus
  • Working towards CPA highly desired
  • Preferred knowledge and experience working with life insurers' financial statement preparation a plus.
