Hughes, Pittman & Gupton, LLP, located in Raleigh, is a leading certified public accounting firm that has been serving clients in the Research Triangle area for over 30 years. HPG is locally owned and managed, with a national firm practice, providing audit, tax, business advisory and outsourced accounting services.

We are adding a full-time Accountant/Tax Paraprofessional to our division that provides outsourced accounting services to business clients.

Responsibilities:

• General ledger maintenance
• Bank reconciliations
• AP and AR processing
• Monthly financial reporting and preparation of 1099s.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience with the above-mentioned job responsibilities
• Strong knowledge of Bookkeeping and QuickBooks
• Outstanding customer service skills
• The ability to communicate succinctly and professionally both verbally and in writing
• Experience with Bill.com or similar tools preferred
• Associate’s degree in Accounting preferred
