Overview – Admin/Accounting Assistant

We are looking for a detail orientated candidate with a strong work ethic. Must have the ability to multi-task and stay calm and proactive in a high-pressure & fast-moving environment.

The Accounting Assistant is responsible for supporting the Controller with all accounting and administrative functions for multiple companies. Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Updating and maintaining deposit spreadsheets.
• Preparing statements and processing payments and commission transfers for our clients.
• Invoicing and following up on past due balances.
• Data Entry in Quickbooks for all daily financial transactions.
• Assist with bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Assist with month end close.
• Maintain 1099 files and assist with tax preparation.
• Office Administration such as office supply procurement, meeting planning, and travel arrangements.

Required Skills:

• 1-2 years of accounting experience
• Knowledge of QuickBooks
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills
• Excellent organization and communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $45,000.00 per year
