Robert Half has an opening for an Accounting Clerk to work in the Oil & Gas - Field Svcs industry, whose duties will be matching invoices to purchase orders/ vouchers, data entry, and assisting with Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R). This is a long-term contract / temporary position based in the Enon Nt, Ohio area. This position offers opportunities for career advancement and is best suitable for candidates seeking an energetic, team-oriented environment. What you get to do every single day

• Assist Accounts Receivable: help with collection of past due balance, process daily invoices/credit, and apply cash receipt
• Arrange documents that require knowledge in determining proper classification of expenditure codes and accounting codes
• Harmonize discrepancies by checking all possible sources of disagreement, reconstructing probable actions, and recognizing the effect on other accounts; prepare correction documents as required
• Put together statements and reports that require utilization of an assortment of sources
• Publish financial information to journals and ledgers

• AA or BS/BA in Accounting or related field preferred
• Foundational knowledge in Research Discrepancies
• Monthly Account Reconciliation experience
• Market research experience highly desired
• Adeptness in customer service
• Invoice experience
• Proficiency in Monthly Close Processes
• Experience with high volume data entry
• Ability to multitask and communicate well with individuals of all backgrounds
• Spreadsheet and ERP system experience recommended
