JOB SUMMARY:
The Accounting Manager, IOA Group, LLC is responsible for implementation and maintaining compliance of US
GAAP for the holdings company and all non-insurance subsidiary companies.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Ensure compliance with GAAP principles and assist with financial statements and footnotes presented under
GAAP.
Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal
controls.
Responsible for either review or reconciliation of all account balances throughout the entire balance sheet.
Maintenance of general ledger and preparing month-end close procedures.
Be the point of contact for external audits, reviews, tax preparers, and other external parties as engaged.
Assist with compliance reporting for federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
Serve as a backup as well as a support role in fixed asset procedures, including fixed and intangible asset
classifications, additions, disposals, transfers and other changes.
Participate in financial standards setting, including the budget and forecast processes.
Contribute to the development of accounting procedures and internal controls by reviewing current
processes, finding control deficiencies, and making recommendations to senior management.
Assist or lead approved projects as needed.
Continue to improve professional skills by actively participating in internal/external development
opportunities.
Monitor individual performance to ensure productivity, efficiency, quality, while adhering to deadlines and
service standards, taking corrective actions when required or properly communicating roadblocks or delays to
management.
Demonstrate a strong work ethic, positive attitude and willingness to assist others at all times.
Serve as a back-up for critical daily processes as needed, covering for others in their absence and ensuring
overall team service and performance excellence.
Develop and maintain positive, productive relationships with IOA leadership, peers, co-workers, teammates,
and employees.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance major and a minimum of three (3) years of public or private
accounting experience required
Active licensed CPA
Experience with consolidated and individual financial reporting requirements for multiple organizations
Proficiency in Microsoft suite of products (Word, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint). Advanced Excel skills, including
Vlookups and pivot tables, are required
Excellent multi-tasking and organizational skills with the ability to pay strong attention to detail
Outstanding verbal/written communication skills; experience with presentations to senior management
Ability to analyze and problem solve complex issues

Work is performed in a temperature controlled office environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to walk, sit and stand in various intervals
throughout the day.
The employee will occasionally lift and or carry up to 25 lbs.
Employee may use computer, phone, copier and other office equipment in the course of a day.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to use hand to handle, touch
and use tools, reach with hands and arms, bend, stoop, twist, lift, reach, push, pull, grasp, balance, talk, hear,
and ambulate during the course of employment.
Specific vision ability required by the job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth
perception and an ability to adjust focus.
Employee may be required to travel for business purposes.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:

exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time. This may include, warm, hot or cold temperatures. The
noise level in the work environment should be moderate most of the time.
WORK SCHEDULE:
Employee will be required to work the agreed upon hours presented in the offer letter. Schedule may vary based
on business demands and may require a combination of office hours as well as work performed after hours
and/or weekends.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
