Work directly for a Somerset County, NJ area specialty manufacturer.Accounting Manager:
Summary:
Taking charge of the accounting and human resources for this privately held business. Your ability to lead and create positive changes to the culture and profits will be rewarded with additional responsibilities. Reporting directly to the President/ Owner, this role will allow you to make a difference.
Role Defined:
In this hands-on role you will be responsible for all aspects of the following:
Accounting:
- All financial statement preparation.
- Journal entries and bank reconciliations
- Multi-state sales and use tax filing, payroll tax filing and run payroll at times
- Work with engineering and production to ensure pricing and profit accuracy
- Develop and monitor internal controls
- Maintain accurate inventory counts
- Billing/Daily Sales Report
- A/R, Post Cash, A/P
- Maintain and establish relationships with all insurance brokers to analyze and advise management about insurance coverages for medical, workers compensation and business liability coverages.
- BSBA preferred
- Minimum 8 years of accounting experience in a small to mid-size manufacturing company.
- Must be hands-on and detailed oriented
- Demonstrated experience leading or creating changes in culture or operations.
