Overview:
Law firm seeking a professional with strong writing and analytical skills to work directly on technical client matters for a specialized practice group. Day-to-day activities involve analyzing complex facts and technical rules, and producing clear and concise narratives based on that analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Independently review and analyze complex files thoroughly, including medical records, tax records, correspondence, and similar materials
- Write unbiased, complete, and concise summaries of the facts, while using discretion to write recommendations for further action
- Compose clear and concise letters involving complex matters in deliverable form for client
- Collaborate with team to design and provide strategic responses to a high volume of complex matters
- Review work product of team members and provide editorial comments and technical suggestions
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- At least 5 years of substantial writing and/or editing experience
- Experience reviewing medical records preferred
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office preferred
- Excellent written communication skills
- Advanced proofreading and editing skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong time management and prioritization skills
- Ability to work independently for extended periods
