The Account Payable Associate is a critical team member of the accounting department working on a hybrid schedule in our Alpharetta, GA office.

Responsibilities:

• Position will be responsible for making payments to insurance carriers based off review of carrier statements
• Will review and process invoices, account currents, and review discrepancy reports
• Process of commission checks from carriers
• Daily and monthly account reconciliations and assisting in performing variance analysis
• Strong Excel skills are required
• Possess strong oral and written communication skills, and attention to detail
• Demonstrate ability to learn new technology systems and processes
• Demonstrate ability to work collaboratively within and across a team-oriented, multi-departmental office environment with a high degree of professionalism
• Self-starter with the skills to work independently with minimal supervision and able to accurately manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.

Requirements:

• 2-3 years accounting/finance experience - payables experience preferred
• Strong customer service skills (verbal and written)
• MS Suite, particularly Excel
• Accounts payables processing using accounting software
• Detailed and deadline oriented
• Insurance industry experience a plus
