Olsten is assisting a client in Loris, SC to find an Accounting Assistant to join their team. This candidate will be responsible for supporting the accounting functions of the company. Apply now if you meet the qualifications below!

Responsibilities for this job include:
Ensure accurate and timely processing of settlements and daily tickets

Reconcile and balance accounting documents, research, and correct discrepancies

Answer phone calls daily and handling carious inquiries from field staff and customers

Maintains daily files and documentation, thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices

Develops special computer reports in support of management needs

Qualifications for this job include:
2-3 years of general accounting experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience supporting the accounting department

Strong problem-solving skills, basic accounting principles and knowledge, research, resolution, data analysis and multi-tasking skills

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to get a long with a variety of personalities within a small office

Strong customer support and communication skills

Must be proficient in Outlook, Work and Excel

Working knowledge of data management, understanding tables, and transforming date into spreadsheets

Experience using main frame-based HP or business application software

This is a full-time, temp-to-hire position with pay starting at $17.31/hourly depending on experience
