A leading wholesale produce distribution company in Orange County is looking to hire an Accounts Payable Clerk. Schedule is from 8am until 430pm, Monday thru Friday. Primary Functions:

The AP clerk will mainly support the accounting department with data entry, filling and other office duties as needed .

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support the company’s Accounting department in the clerical needs

• Assist in streamlining and improving the accounts payable processes

• Exercise integrity and confidentiality in working with invoices and account information.
• Review invoices for appropriate documentation prior to payment
• Perform invoice and general ledger data entry
• Print checks and obtain signatures on all checks
• Assist the accounting staff during month end and year end closing of accounts in areas they need assistance.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

• High school diploma required
• Excellent communication and coordination skills. Also in maintaining excellent working relationships with the staff, vendors, clients.
