Summary
(Including Minimum Essential Position Duties):

The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for daily and weekly processing of invoices for multiple entities, daily provider payments, transferring completed checks to fulfillment department, and monthly 1099 project in preparation for annual reporting.

  • 1099 IRS reporting process.
  • Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment.
  • Accurate data entry of invoices with proper GL Coding to the appropriate entity.
  • Weekly check processing of approved payables and distribute and mail signed checks per due dates.
  • Answer all internal/external payables inquiries and maintain records of accounts payable invoices.
  • Maintain and update payables reports, spreadsheets and files in general.
  • Prepare reconciliation of vendor accounts and audits vendor statements as required.
  • Bank reconciliations, including Void and Reissue of stale dated checks.
  • Preparation of monthly Accrual report.
  • Preparation and Reconciliation of Company Credit Card expenses.
  • Essential support to claims payables, Uniflow query system, and commission payables.

Education and/or Experience:

  • 1+ year of Accounts Payable experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft applications.


Specific Skills/Knowledge:

  • Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills.
  • Knowledge of accounting systems (ERP).
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and meet constant deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work as a team and ensure interactions remain positive and professional with all persons with whom you interact, both internally and externally.


Environment and/or Physical Factors:

Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available. Sedentary work involves extensive sitting, typing, close range vision most of the time.

Compensation:

In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base rate of pay for this position is $22.00 - $28.25 per hour, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. If you are hired at LIBERTY, your final rate of pay will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors – we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any, final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth. We also offer a generous compensation and benefits package and we look forward to sharing all of these details soon.
