Reporting into the A/P Manager, the A/P Specialist is responsible for performing various activities related to generating payments (ACH, check, wire) and maintaining accurate supplier records within the Workday system. This role also provides support to the A/P leadership team, as well as the A/P Coordinators when necessary.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Processes new supplier additions and changes in Workday. Ensures that all required documentation is provided at the time of request (W9) and that appropriate approvals are in place. Manages the IRS TIN matching process.
• Prepares weekly payment settlements files (ACH, wire, check) for review by A/P and Treasury Leadership. Resolves ACH returned items and replacement checks through Workday and Wells Fargo.
• Manages the onboarding of suppliers to the ACH and wire payment programs. Promotes electronic payments in place of paper checks. Ensures that proper bank authorizations are received for any new or existing suppliers.
• Tracks and responds to supplier payment inquiries. Coordinates and manages all supplier related communications as it relates to NAPA A/P policies and procedures.
• Performs all A/P related activities needed to facilitate the processing of abandoned property transactions.
• Perform additional A/P related tasks as requested by management.

Required Qualifications:

• At least 3-5 years full cycle Accounts Payable experience with strong working knowledge of payment processing and supplier maintenance.
• ERP systems experience required.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and mathematical skills.
• Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills
• Able to work in a dynamic, fluid, fast-paced environment
• Able to effectively work on a remote team

Preferred Qualifications:

• Workday (ERP system) experience
• Bachelor's degree – Accounting or Business
