The AR Manager is responsible for the management and coordination of third-party revenue cycle operations. This role reports to the Director of Operations and works closely with the Director in overseeing daily operations in support of CorroHealth' s client partner(s). The AR Manager will act as an investigator and data analyst, with strong communication skills to present large scale segmented revenue data.

Essential functions

  • Plan, direct, and coordinate revenue cycle operations from point of entry to accurate adjudication of patient accounts, managing inventory from integration to close
  • Work with the Director of Operations to develop and implement third party revenue cycle processes and efficiencies
  • Responsible for ensuring all revenue cycle policies, procedures and standards are appropriate, compliant and updated timely
  • Determine need for and updates reference materials such as training tools; ensures that all revenue cycle activities are fully documented in accordance with the standards and practices of the organization and client partner
  • Regularly provide upper management with revenue cycle status including reports, metrics, and presentations
  • Develop, monitor, and assess business metrics to refine processes and maximize cash collections
  • Establish internal goals and identify external benchmarks
  • Provide unit supervisor with reports and metrics necessary to ensure the maximum effectiveness of daily operations
  • Implement specific unit performance measures and monitoring tools, and quickly and proactively respond to revenue cycle issues
  • Evaluate employee performance; educate, guide, counsel and develop staff and address performance management concerns
  • Ensure that Key Performance Indicators are met
  • Continuously analyze and report staffing requirements
  • Other duties as required

Client Services and Sales Support

  • Client Meetings: Attend regularly scheduled meetings and support Client Services and Sales Teams on request
  • Client Preference Guides, Policies and Procedures: Create and Maintain. Coordinate unit training with the Training Team and conduct unit meetings when a new policy/procedure is created
  • Client Managed Care Contract Updates: Maintain and publish in a timely manner
  • Client Websites: Ensure each staff member has access as appropriate
  • Client Reports: Create client ad-hock reports as needed/requested
  • Problem Payor -track and report. Participate in payor meetings as requested

Regular eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity is required to operate office equipment. The ability to perform work at a computer terminal for 6-8 hours a day and function in an environment with constant interruptions is required. At times, incumbents are subject to sitting for prolonged periods. Infrequently, incumbent must be able to lift and move material weighing up to 20 lbs. Incumbent may experience elevated levels of stress during periods of increased activity and with work entailing multiple deadlines

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
