Summary
The ACH Mainframe Developer must be innovative, energetic and driven to provide great customer services. The successful candidate will function as a collaborative member on a team of PEP+ System developers focused on delivering scalable, high quality, high performing technology solutions. The ACH Mainframe Developer will be responsible for development, maintenance, and support within an IBM z/OS environment. In this role, the selected candidate must be able to work independently or part of a team to meet the company’s goals through the analysis, design, implementation and use of application software.
Required Qualifications:

- Prior experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced Banking Software environment

- Demonstrated critical thinking skills, ability to accurately analyze information and make sound decisions
- Exhibit a passion to streamline common activities (automate)
- Experience in reviewing application design and ensuring conformance to company specific enterprise architecture
- Ability to independently drive solutions while working with multiple teams.
- Experience leading technical design sessions
- Experience in verification and validation
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS or a related field or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
Preferred Technical Skills:
- 6+ years’ experience in a IBM z/OS environment
- On call Production support
- Batch and online programming experience
- Supporting applications running in a CICS environment
- File Aid
- Xpeditor
- IBM Enterprise COBOL skills
- JCL
- VSAM
- CICS Web service integration
- TSO/ISPF experience
- DB2 experience a Plus
- Excellent Analytical skills
