Job Summary:
Acquisition Professionals LLC is looking for an Acquisition Instructor to support our client in Washington, DC.

Responsibilities:

• The Acquisition Instructor will lead nine 8-hour classes.
• Each class will consist of no more than 25 students from the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration.
• The students will range from Contract Officer's Representatives (COR) through Contract Specialists.
• Additionally, the candidate will help prepare and expand existing coursework.
• The instructor will be responsible for the following classes: Acquisition Planning, Market Research, Requirements Writing, Independent Government Cost Estimates and Post-Award COR duties.

Education/Certifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Acquisition Management, Business, Finance or Accounting.

Desired Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years managing a government contract required.
• Excellent communication skills with proven capability to provide oral and written presentations.
• Experience in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and DoD Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS).
• Proficient Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Zoom Meeting tele-conferencing.
• Minimum of 5 years managing a government contract required.
