Job Description:

POSITION CONTINGENT UPON FINAL APPROVAL OF FUNDING.

This position provides the following support for the Armament Directorate, Long Range Systems Division, AFLCMC/EBJ, Eglin AFB, FL. The Long Range Systems Division, AFLCMC/EBJ, has responsibility for developing, producing, and sustaining the Joint Air-to-Surface Standoff Missiles (JASSMs).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with the development, maintenance, and updating the following acquisition reports:
  • Monthly Acquisition Report (MAR)
  • Selected Acquisition Report (SAR)
  • Defense Acquisition Executive Summary (DAES)
  • Acquisition Program Baseline (APB)
  • Supplemental reports as required by DoD policy for Acquisition Category (ACAT) I, ACAT II, and ACAT III programs IAW DoDI 5000.02, AFI 63-101, and AFPAM 63-128
• This includes use of standardized and specialized software applications such as the Defense Acquisition Management Information Retrieval (DAMIR), Electronic Document Access (EDA), Project Management Resource Tools (PMRT), Commanders Resource Integration System (CRIS), and any other DoD/Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) mandated system
• Prepare briefings, graphics and reports in direct support of the acquisition program management function

One of the following combinations of education/experience:

• Associates degree in a relevant degree field + 15 years relevant experience
• Bachelor's degree in relevant degree field + 10 years relevant experience
• Master's degree in relevant degree field + 7 years relevant experience

• Previous experience working DoD statutory and regulatory reports
• Effective oral and written communications skills, good interpersonal communications skills and be comfortable working in a team environment
• Proficient in the use and integration of MS Office Word, Excel and Power point applications
• Active Top Secret security clearance required.

Preferred Experience:

• Previous experience in an AF weapon systems program office highly desired
