$300 Sign-on Bonus (paid after 90 days of employment and in good standing):

The pay range for this position is $18 to $21.00 per hour:
Creating and implementing activities on and off campus

This is a driving position- (Clean MVR)

Experienced with MS Suite, proof-reading, creating calendar events, creating flyers

Writing Reports

Great Communication

  • Strong skills in learning new computer programs, creating an exciting print for flyers and newsletters, with attention to detail for grammar and spelling
  • Current driver’s license in good standing
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment

The ideal candidate for this position will be willing and able to assist as a Driver, with a large focus on Activity based outings, and occasionally transportation to doctor appointments.

This position's scheduled days are either Tuesday through Saturday - day shift with some evenings OR Thursday through Monday - day shift with some evenings.

Must have clean MVR and be able to pass a background check.

Purpose of Your Job Position:
  • Plan, organize and develop the overall operation of the Activity Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local regulations and our established policies and procedures, as directed by the Executive Director and/or the Activities Director.
  • Ensure that an on-going program of activities is designed to meet, in accordance with the comprehensive assessment, the interests and the physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being of each resident.
  • As a Watermark Community Life Assistant, Activities Assistant you are entrusted to provide innovative, responsible healthcare with the creation and implementation of new ideas and concepts that continually improve systems and processes to achieve superior results.
Job Requirements:
  • 2 years experience in preparing and implementing activities preferred
  • Able to work weekends and holidays
  • Degree in therapeutic recreation or related field a plus
2-4 years’ experience in resident programming preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Computer literate
