About the role

As the site technology leader, the Lead Technician is responsible for executing against priorities established by Adecco and Client management. The Lead Technician will guide the tech team to work through the priorities, provide training that grows their skill sets and be the primary liaison with the Client tech team. This role requires a diverse technology background, leadership experience as well as vendor/Client relationship experience.


What you’ll be doing
  • Serve as the primary liaison between Adecco staff and the Client’s technical team.
  • Prioritize technical inputs from Site Lead and Client technical team, translate those priorities into daily or weekly tasking for the site technicians.
  • Troubleshoot equipment hardware and software issues and work with the Client technical and operations team, including hands on triage and training of the site technicians to resolve.
  • Develop prototype scripts for tools based on Client-provided specifications.
  • Offer innovations to the Client for technology and process improvements and support those with hands-on coding as agreed upon with the client.
  • Work within the Client’s systems and codebase to develop necessary updates to tools, when agreed upon between Adecco and the Client
  • Lead the tech team at the assigned site and support/advice on global tech activities to ensure consistency and collaboration on bugs as well as innovation efforts
  • Provide remote support to a multiple tech shift operation along with break-fix hands on support as needed
  • Other hands-on or technical advice input as required.
About you

MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, other related fields, or equivalent experience

Leadership of tech teams with targeted and diverse experience


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS:

  • Client facing technology and Operations experience
  • Electronics Technician across many industries and technologies
  • Mechanical Technician experience
  • Software Development
  • Linux depth
  • Mechanical/Electronics repair experience
  • Performance of programming, scripting, and querying – specifically
    • Python
    • Bash
    • SQL
  • Document writing, especially technical
  • Electro-Optical experience
  • Digitization experience
  • Photographic expertise
