GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Adheres to the policies, operating procedures, the Mission and Core Values of Omega Senior Living.
Responsible for all operations, acting as contact for all associates, residents, prospects, community organizations, government agencies and the public.
Supervises, directs and motivates community associates.
Maintains high degree of resident satisfaction and retention through consistent deliver of high quality services. Provides leadership for associates and residents to include pro-actively solving problems and resolving issues. Administers annual resident satisfaction survey.
Executes quality improvement program with existing residents through a proactive program.
In conjunction with regional operations, develops annual operating and capital budgets. Aggressively anticipates and minimizes negative budget variances and deficits. Meets and exceeds budget occupancy goals for the property. Continually explores means of revenue enhancements and expense reduction.
Hires, trains, disciplines and terminates employees in accordance with company policies. Reviews hires, promotions, disciplinary actions and termination of employment of associates ensuring consistency in the selection and retention of quality personnel.
Ensures buildings, grounds and property are up to company standards through the oversight of preventative maintenance systems and programs, and frequent inspections that meet company standards of excellence.
Maintains current departmental policies, procedures and licenses in accordance with company, Federal, State and local requirements.
Fosters creativity among associates to deliver the highest quality and best services to residents in the most economical manner possible. Responsible for creating and maintaining an atmosphere of stability where the personal dignity of residents is supported. Acts as a member of Resident Council.
Develops and maintains a positive image within the community. Becoming active in social and civic professional organizations, community groups and other appropriate public agencies/groups.
Utilizes sales and marketing activities and strategies to maximize occupancy.
Assist in developing and conducting service plan reviews, as required by state codes, with appropriate resident care team members and resident families.
Supervises the maintenance of resident charts and reviews documentation performed by resident care associates.
Oversees the resident admission process to assure required documentation is completed in a timely manner and in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Oversees the healthcare management of all residents in accordance with company policy and state regulations. Oversees the adherence to company policy regarding administration of medication. Assists nursing personnel in staff training and ensures frequent audits are performed on medication sheets.
Will keep certification current and participate in continuing education to include staff meetings, in-services and web based trainings.

EDUCATION
Requires BA/BS in healthcare management, business, or related field.
Minimum of two years related experience.
Current license or certification as required by state.

EXPERIENCE
Must have, as a minimum, two years of experience in a supervisory capacity.

Must possess a current license or certification as required by the State.

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.

Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public.

Must possess the ability to work harmoniously with and supervise other personnel.

Must possess the ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies and procedures, etc., that are necessary for providing quality care and maintaining a sound operation.

Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as must be willing to handle residents, staff, and visitors, based on whatever maturity level at which they are currently functioning.

Must possess the ability to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing practices.

Must be able to maintain good personnel relations and employee morale.

Must be able to read and interpret financial records, reports, etc.

Must be knowledgeable of computer systems, system applications, and other office equipment.

Must be able to communicate policies, procedures, regulations, reports, etc., to personnel, residents, family members, visitors, and government agencies/personnel.
