Job description
The Administrative Assistant facilitates the efficient operation of the assigned department by performing a variety of clerical and administrative tasks.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Answers and transfers phone calls, screening when necessary.
- Welcomes and directs customers, vendors, or any visitors entering the building
- Scanning, filing, typing, form creation, etc.
- Obtains, distribute, and process mail.
- Maintains office supplies and coordinates maintenance of office equipment.
- Work interdepartmentally to assist with all clerical aspects of the company.
- Basic data entry and accounting
- Maintain Excel spreadsheets
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent. Degree preferred, but not required.
- 3+ years general office administration experience
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office
- General experience in Accounting (AP/AR, etc.) preferred, but not required
- Data entry
- Extreme attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Problem solving / troubleshooting ability
- Sound organizational and time management skills with the ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects
- Self-starter, motivated, energetic, flexible
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and in multiple areas
- Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as recordkeeping and filing.
- Ability to work independently.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Ability to occasionally lift components weighing up to 20 pounds
- Ability to withstand environmental temperatures
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $18.00 per hour

- Administrative: 3 years (Preferred)
