General Purpose: Provide administrative support to the Director of Staff Development & Training. Duties include administrative and project based work with heavy emphasis on supporting the staff training and development function. Project a professional company image through in-person and phone interaction. Essential Functions: Performs administrative support for Training and Development Role: -Handle all administrative tasks related to the training and development function, duties may include: working with external vendors, selecting locations, scheduling monthly training's, communicating with all levels and roles and working with Director to prioritize departmental goals.

  • Accurately input training data into ABRA HRIS; generate accurate reports as required i.e. classes, monthly, annual, department heads etc. -Assist with the preparation of training materials, correspondence of meetings, scheduling of meetings, and maintaining training records for all employees. -Be creative and thematic with publishing marketing materials to support training and development initiatives -Manage manual and electronic survey and feedback tools -Create a monthly schedule for and manage Adobe Connect virtual classroom -Attend appropriate trainings and relevant meetings.
  • Scheduling and calendar management of Director. -Create monthly New Hire Orientation Schedule, mailings and support the program entirely by handling food, logistics etc. Qualifications/Basic Job Requirements: Describe the skills, knowledge and abilities required. Include minimum educational and experience requirements and preferences.
  • HS Diploma/GED minimum education required. AA in Secretarial Studies or some college preferred or a minimum of 3-5 yearsâ?? experience working in a similar position providing executive level support. -Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage upward.
  • Duties require professional verbal and written communication skills and the ability to type 50 wpm. Visibility of work requires attention to detail, excellent organizational skills. -Proficient MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook skills required. -Must be willing to learn new computer applications.
  • Knowledge of Design & Publication Applications -Some experience with LMS and Virtual Classroom tools preferred. Scope of Responsibility & Positions Supervised: -Exercises discretion, judgment, and confidentiality -Maintains confidentiality and security of departmental information and files. -Has authority to accurately schedule, track, and prepare appointments and meetings for executives. -Ensures compliance with Agency policies and procedures and safety standards throughout department work areas.
