Job description
This position will provide administrative support services to the faculty and staff working in the Principal Investigator's Neuromuscular Research Team. Scope will include but is not limited to answering phones, delivering messages, helping process orders for office, laboratory, and other supplies, maintaining calibration of all laboratory and non-study specific equipment, facilitating trouble calls to Facilities Management, scheduler for monitoring room, maintaining laboratory certification, and other administrative support to the additional employees as needed.
Salary range: $21.51-$30.53 Hourly
- Demonstrated experience working in a complex and busy office environment
- Demonstrated experience operating various computer software applications
- Ability to manage confidential information and files with tact and diplomacy
- Ability to enter information into spreadsheets and/or databases with speed and accuracy
- Effective interpersonal skills sufficient to interact effectively and diplomatically with the faculty and staff
- Writing skills sufficient to compose grammatically correct correspondence
- Ability to work in an environment that where needs may fluctuate and priorities may shift
- Work efficiently and accurately with minimal errors
