The Administrative Assistant/Receptionist position is responsible for managing the daily activity for the main reception area at the InComm Payments headquarters in Atlanta, GA. The incumbent will serve as the primary phone switchboard operator directing calls as they come through the main phone line to the company. Additionally, this role is responsible for managing daily foot traffic within the headquarters facility and providing backup assistance to other areas of HR and Facilities.
This position operates under a traditional 9-5 schedule, Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities:
What do we expect the person to produce?
- Perform routine reception duties:
- Meet/Greet guests
- Check guests in/out for appointments with company representatives
- Provide visitors with parking validation.
- Serve as primary switchboard operator
- Triage and direct all inbound calls
- Manage call escalation as appropriate
- Manage corporate conference room schedule
- Set/maintain/clear primary conference rooms
- Provide administrative support to peers in the Administrative Assistant pool (HR, Mezzanine)
- Serve as a backup resource to the corporate mail room clerk
- Manage and maintain the headquarters lobby
- Assist Human Resources with special projects
- Specific duties may vary depending upon departmental requirements.

Highschool diploma or equivalent is required

Up to 2 years of experience in an office environment as an administrative assistant, customer service representative or similar

Proficiency with MS Office product suite (Word, Excel, etc.)

Experience with MS Teams a plus
How competency is demonstrated

Excellent verbal communication skills

Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

Demonstrated ability to deescalate high pressure/high tension situations

Ability to manage a high call volume

Working knowledge of managing multi-line switchboard

Demonstrated ability to multi-task in a high paced environment

Aptitude for critical thinking and problem resolution
