Job Description

  • Under the general direction of the Clinical Manager and Director, the Administrative Coordinator is the primary administrative person responsible for the overall non-clinical front office and back office daily operations of the Card/Endo Unit.
  • Under the direction of the Clinical Manager, physicians, and in collaboration with the staff, the Administrative Coordinator will implement policies and procedures and will be responsible for leading the business analytics process within the department.
  • This position is responsible for data entry, collection of information, and spreadsheet reporting.
  • The Administrative Coordinator acts as the primary liaison for all patients and must be able to assist patients when unique situations arise.
  • The Administrative Coordinator will maintain a strong professional working relationship with all staff and departments involved with the patient experience including; physicians, nursing staff, technicians, Patient Accounts, Patient Access, Information Services, and Medical Records.

Qualifications

EDUCATION:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 5+ years administrative experience with previous experience in a health care setting preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and Meditech Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Working knowledge of specialized Card/Endo systems preferred (Hi-IQ, GE Mac Lab, and WITT).

SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • Excellent typing skills, proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet and database software programs.
  • Good communication skills needed.
