This Nurse Director of Women's and Children's Services will join an incredible team of staff and report directly to the Chief Nursing Officer. This RN Director will oversee a Nurse Manager as well as multiple Charge RN's, staff RN's, and other ancillary staff among the Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, OBGYN, and NICU departments. Responsibilities for this role include spearheading departmental quality and policy improvements, ensuring the highest standard of care is upheld, creating a positive environment for both staff and patients alike, holding departmental meetings, overseeing department budgets, staffing, and hiring, and ensuring all hospital, local, state, and federal rules and regulations are followed.

This Nurse Director of Maternal Child Health should have their BSN and Masters in a related field as well as previous clinical expereience in at least one of the following departments (labor and delivery, postpartum, and/or NICU). This RN leader must also have previous nurse leadership experience as well as an active CA RN license.
