AES Drilling Fluids is creating a new position for an Administrative Mud Assistant due to ongoing growth. This position is responsible for all administrative tasks required to support the engineering team working in the mud lab in Kermit, TX. The team works 24/7 to ensure the accuracy and quality of liquid mud products that are being manufactured. This position will support the team by helping to track and report inbound and outbound products and ensuring that all the information is entered and reported in an accurate and timely manner. This position works days Mon-Fri from 8-5 and may require working some occasional overtime. This does require full time onsite in Kermit. Starting pay $20.00 per hour.

Location: Kermit, TX
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Retrieves PO’s, organizes, and enters all incoming diesel inventory into AES Pro.
- Assists team by updating diesel on the Daily Tracker (Excel) reports as received.
- Prepare return tickets and shipping tickets and enter in to AES Pro.
- Submit reconciliation requests to Supervisor.
- Upon receipt, enters returns into appropriate tanks in system in to ensure accurate inventory tracking.
- Assists team with during monthly inventory with assigned duties.
- Audits inventory entries daily against tickets to ensure that all items shipped or returned have been accurately entered or deducted in AES Pro system.
- Keeps all purchase order records current.
- Supports Liquid Mud Supervisor and team by reading, researching, and analyzing documents, collecting, and analyzing information, and initiating corrective action when required.
- Assists employees with the office equipment, copy machine, and general clerical duties including but not limited to; making copies, printing, retrieving, and scanning documents, organizing and maintain files, when and as needed.
- Keeps the mud lab and office in a neat and professional condition and orders supplies when and as needed.
- Accepts, signs for and delivers packages, as they arrive and routes to appropriate personnel.
- Conducts special projects and all other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or senior team members.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Prior work experience in warehouse operations is preferred; prior work experience in the oil and gas industry would be highly advantageous.
- Two (2) years of accounts receivable, billing or AP would be a plus.
- Bilingual language abilities (English/Spanish) is a plus.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook and strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Flexibility to work occasional overtime is required.
