Admissions Coordinator (Internal)
Job description
Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Bayonet Point is looking for an Admissions Coordinator. The admissions Coordinator supports the Admissions/Marketing Director in executing the goals and objectives of the Admissions department. This individual will be helping our Skilled Nursing home facility with referrals and admission into the Facility
Responsibilities:
- Admissions Processing
- Maintain records and results on all referral and conversion activity.
- Assess inquiries when necessary and respond to referral sources based on protocol, communicate admission decisions, and ensure positive admission experience for customers and families.
- Work with Admissions Director and Team to follow up on pending referrals.
- Other duties as assigned
Admissions Coordinator Qualifications and Skills
- Proficient in electronic record management systems
- Efficient typing and data capturing skills
- Advanced communication and customer relation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft office
- Ability to multitask on a team and alone
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Experience:
- Marketing: 1 year (Preferred)
- skilled nursing: 1 year (Preferred)
- Insurance verification: 1 year (Preferred)
- Point-Click Care: 1 year (Preferred)
