POSITION SUMMARY
Incumbent is responsible for all areas of traditional, mobile and digital marketing. Work requires superior communication and judgment skills as position's primary responsibility is grow the STC brand by driving engagement and digital presence. Additionally, the incumbent assists with the execution of various casino promotions, video production and graphic design. Reports to the Marketing Manager and Director of Marketing.
GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

- Coordinates with the Marketing Manager to facilitate website updates and ensures that all content is accurate and posted or removed on schedule;
- Establish, maintain and collaborate effective communication and professional relationships with internal departments.
- Supervise and deploy the advertising assets online, on property and through contracted advertising partners/vendors.
- Take ownership of and maintain the integrity of the STC brand.
- Coordinate email and message content and campaigns.
- Assist the Marketing team with the promotion of the Player Development Club.
- Provides general administrative support to the Marketing Manager;
- Work nights, weekends and holidays, as schedule requires.
- Assists in the coordination and production of all events;
- Fundamental understanding of print design processes and materials.
- Design digital and print collateral for all marketing purposes.
- Remains well-informed of the property's current news and events as well as market/industry news;
- Conduct website maintenance and copy updates.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
GENERAL CONDITIONS
Must have ability to:
- Must be 21 years or older.
- Move around all work areas effectively and efficiently;

- Work more than 45 hours per week which may include nights, weekends and holidays;

- Use all equipment associated with the position, including but not limited to, computers, software and database systems;
- Review and comprehend all necessary documentation;

- Operates in a working environment that is subject to varying levels of crowds, noise, and smoke the severity of which depends upon customer volume;
- Communicate effectively in order to understand and meet the needs of preferred customers.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field.
- 2+ years related experience in casino marketing, journalism, communications, event planning or public relations. Preference given to those with casino experience.
- Strong hospitality spirit, people person who is passionate about showcasing the property experience to all guests;
- Must possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills;
- Proven understanding of casino marketing principles. Preference will be given to applicants that have demonstrated casino marketing experience;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment business that operates 24/7;
- Must be available to work a variable shift that is focused on special events and business demands;
- Must be proficient in office procedures, equipment, computers and applicable software applications such as Microsoft Office products;
- Proven success using Adobe After Affects, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign. Portfolio submission preferred;
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints and to communicate effectively with co-workers and customers in a timely manner;
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Read, write and speak English fluently;
- Ability to meet deadlines as required;
- Must be detail orientated, creative, artistic, motivated, and willing to work long hours;
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
REGULATORY AND COMPLIANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
In addition to the other duties described herein, every employee has the following responsibilities related to compliance with laws and regulations:
- Employment is contingent on receiving and maintaining adequate licensing, including any required gaming license;
- Attend required training sessions offered by the Spokane Tribe Casino;
- Perform the duties described in compliance with local laws and regulations;
- Have knowledge of the ordinances, regulations, laws, policies, and procedures relating to the Casino;
- Take the necessary steps to ensure minors are not encouraged or permitted to gamble or loiter in gambling areas, drink alcoholic beverages, or purchase tobacco products;
- Refer to the Internal Control System and Policy Manuals for guidance;
- Take the appropriate steps to report exceptions, fraud, acts of wrongdoing, and potential violations of regulations or internal controls to the appropriate levels of management;
- Uphold high standards of ethical behavior, demonstrate an understanding of the impacts of problem gambling, and have knowledge of the Casino's programs to address problem gambling;
- Establish rules for promotions and events that conform to Casino policies and regulatory requirements.

- Capable of working in an office environment but duties may require working in all casino facilities, especially the Cage, Slots, and Casino floor, where the position may experience moderate noise and secondary smoke;
