Job Summary: HilltopSecurities is currently looking to hire a Wealth Management Associate.The Advisory Services Group (ASG) provides platforms and services to registered advisors in HTS, MIN and Correspondent firms who manage private portfolios for both high net worth and institutional clients. The primary function of this job is converting advisory accounts, administrative responsibilities and assisting with special projects.
Essential Functions:

• Sets up new accounts, editing current accounts, the basics of performance reporting and learning the essential functions of our billing system to assist the Billing Lead.
• Assists in creating/updating ASG paperwork and processes.
• Coordinate and manage special projects as they arise.
• Creates and maintains relationships with new and existing Advisors.
• Answers Adviser and staff questions related to advisory product process for opening, closing and billing of accounts.
• Utilizes advisory databases to create and maintain Advisor profiles and data on current and proposed sales activity.
• Assists in the coordination of advisory-related regional and OSJ meetings.
• Other primary functions include support of the department’s operations.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably business-related or equivalent
• 0-3 years of securities industry experience preferred, but not required
• Series 7, 63/65 or 66 preferred; or the ability to obtain both within the first 180 days of hire
• Must be detail-orientated, analytical and be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accurate, complete and high-quality work in a timely manner
• Self-motivated team player and individual contributor
• Excellent relationship building and communication skills, both oral and written
• Experience with Envestnet (preferred, not required)
• A strong working knowledge of Hilltops’ custodial/back-office system (FIS) is desired
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
