Innovation Learning, one of the fastest growing before and after school programs is looking for teacher assistants who are interested in assisting teachers to offer exemplary, before and after school programming. We have unique PART-TIME openings for candidates who are passionate about working with students in a school setting.

Come work with us for at one of our Mercer Island Locations.

Work after school 3:30pm-5:15pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Weds 1:45-5:00pm.

Monday through Friday with additional hours possibly available during early dismissal and vacation days.

In this role you will:

· Help to deliver our well-rounded proprietary curriculum while engaging children enthusiastically, fostering the 4Cs (creativity, collaboration, critical thinking, and communication).

· Engage with a small group of elementary children while guiding them through all program components

· Works with the Site Coordinator to organizes the daily materials for all lessons and activities, ensuring that all materials are readily available, and the curriculum is delivered.

· Facilitate the daily program schedule for your group of assigned students.

· Implement effective classroom management strategies to ensure the attention, safety, and well-being of all students.

· Assists children with homework, providing direction and offering support.

· Develops strong relationships with students and have fun!

The Ideal Candidate will Have:

· 1-year documented experience working with children.

Pay: $26.00 - $27.00 per hour

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

• Mercer Island, WA 98040: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Teaching: 1 year (Preferred)
• Childcare: 1 year (Preferred)
