Job Summary

As part of the new business team for the individual life insurance products you are responsible for the initial review of contracting applications and supporting documents (including background reports) to determine if the advisor/agent is eligible to contract with OneAmerica. You are the first point of contact with the prospective agent communicating daily on their contract and will build relationships to ensure OneAmerica has the appropriate documents needed for the producer to sell the OneAmerica products.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conducting credit/criminal/financial background reports on producers that are requesting an appointment with OneAmerica
• Thoroughly review the contracting application and create the producer's record in REPS
• Responding to all licensing inquiries by providing superior customer service skills when communicating via phone and email with our business partners
• Completing daily responsibilities within the designated turnaround time while maintaining a high level of accuracy
• Engaging and collaborating with your peers to bring ideas and efficiencies to the department
• This position requires a hybrid schedule with 1 day a week in the office

Job Requirements

Required Education and/or Certifications

• H.S. Diploma or equivalent

Recommended Education and/or Certifications

• Associate's Degree or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background
• This position is hybrid and will require at least one day in the office.

Salary Band: 03A

This selected candidate will be expected to work hybrid in Indianapolis, IN. The candidate will also be expected to physically return to the office in CA, WI, IN or ME as business needs dictate or for team-building and collaboration.
