The Catalyst Team is seeking an Agile Coach to join our full-time team as a full-time employee.
Responsibilities
- Mentor scrum teams, scrum masters, technical product owners, managers and directors on lean thinking and collaboration.
- Teach through coaching sessions and workshops for best practices key items like story estimation, DoR (Definition of ready), DoD (definition of done), built in quality and team dynamics.
- Think outside the textbook and navigate and inspire detractors to try new ways of working and thinking about their projects and delivery.
- Facilitate SoS (Scrum of scrums).
- Lead CoPs (Communities of practice) for such disciplines as product owners, scrum masters, dev leads and managers.
- Serve as a bridge between the organization they are coaching and other dependent organizations that make up an end to end delivery pipeline to optimize flow of work.
- Identify and implement KPI’s that are represent true value across the organization.
- Perform agile maturity assessments for product, engineering, quality and organization.
- Utilize output from assessments to create transformation backlog and map it to deliverable outcomes.
- Utilize agile tools such as Atlassian products to extract delivery data and propose improvements based on KPIs.
- Train official SAFe certification trainings for SAFe POPM, SP, SA and SSM.
Qualifications
- 4+ years proven experience in coaching process improvements in product development, software engineering and change management
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Experience developing structured learning and training programs
- Mapping current state of end to end delivery
- Develop, implement and track agile transformation strategies
- Lead classroom training for SAFe certifications
- Professional communicator at an executive level
- Professional listener (coaching and mentoring abilities)
- Knowledge in SDLC (Software development lifecycle) specifically around API and services development
- Critical thinker
- Experienced facilitator
- Ability to think outside the textbook and adapt knowledge to make positive impacts in the organization.
- Emotional intelligence to navigate organizational challenges
- Ability to communicate ideas and tactfully challenge individuals
