Salary Range: $30,000– $55,000 Actual compensation for this role will depend on several factors including the cost of living associated with your work location, your qualifications, skills, competencies, and relevant experience

Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks
- Possess complete and accurate knowledge of all insurance products available in the assigned region.
- Key private insurance product applications using the Crop Insurance Advantage computer system.
- Detail oriented for accurate proofing and data entry of forms.
- Review crop hail/private products documents for accuracy, timeliness and completeness.
- Develop working knowledge of the private underwriting procedures manual for assigned region.
- Develop understanding of regional crops and farming practices.
- Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple projects at one time.
- Monitor liability limits and report to Manager any exceeded limits needing approval based on department policy.
- Provide input and feedback to Manager on, questions, input and concerns from field agents in assigned region.
- Maintain a strong working knowledge of processing and ASNA service standards.
- Read, analyze, interpret and follow rules and regulations.
- Assist with the continuous improvement of state manuals for the assigned region.
- Works closely with other company departments to achieve mutual goals.
- Performs other duties as required and assigned.
Position Requirements
Education
Required - High School Diploma, equivalent or equivalent experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong phone and communication skills essential
- Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills.
- Strong sense of urgency and detailed in nature
- Demonstrated ability to work with others to accomplish goals
- A passion for agriculture, risk management and customer service
- Proficiency in using standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office.
- Awareness of local/regional agriculture practices a plus
Physical Demands & Requirements
Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
Hearing. Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction. Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and to make the discriminations in sound.
The employee is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
Environmental Conditions
The work environment described here are meant to be representative of those an employee would normally encounter while performing the essential functions of this job.
The physical environment requires the employee to work inside where there are limited extremes to heat and/or cold; moderate noise; a normal office environment.
Up to 10% travel – meetings, update, training, and as needed to meet the demands of our producers
