Job Profile :
The role of the Aircraft Conformity Specialist is to ensure that all aircraft types that are added and/or removed from the XOJET Aviation LLC., CFR 135 Air Carrier Certificate meet and conform to the technical and safety standards that have been established by the aircraft manufacturer, the Federal Aviation Administration, and XOJET Aviation LLC.
Your Responsibilities:

  • Perform CFR 135 onsite and remote conformity inspections and ensure aircraft meets the required standards for placement onto XOJET Aviation LLC air carrier certificate per General Maintenance Manual processes and procedures
  • Responsible for producing all necessary documentation to validate and add aircraft to the Air Carrier Certificate by providing Conformity Packages, to the Director of Technical Operations for submission to the Chief Inspector and FAA.
  • Review work performed during routine and non-routine maintenance events to include; work order content, aircraft maintenance records, parts tags, 8130-3’s, 337’s, STC’s, maintenance deferrals, weight & balance changes, AD’s, and SB’s, etc. to the extent necessary to ensure the aircraft is airworthy and in compliance with the regulations set forth by the FAA and company manuals
  • Build appropriate aircraft maintenance programs based on fleet type, seating capacity and operations
  • Build and identify RII maintenance items for new aircraft maintenance programs as required
  • Ensure all life limited part records are accurate and properly traced in the aircraft records
  • Assist in building fleet MELs
  • Assist in the removal of aircraft from the XOJET Air Carrier Certificate, by complying with XOJET, FAR, and Lease return conditions and requirements.
  • Create, update, audit computerized maintenance tracking program profile for newly inducted aircraft
  • Assist in the importation of aircraft
  • Perform quality audits on aircraft CAMP templates to ensure tasks are tracking in accordance with appropriate aircraft inspection programs and aircraft/engine/APU maintenance manual requirements
  • Build operator specific maintenance tasks and aircraft specific spec sheets, forms, and kits for new aircraft types
  • Ensure all cockpit libraries and technical data is current and are up to date (digital or hard copy)
  • Ensure that all aircraft weight and balance records are current, accurate and properly recorded
  • Assist in establishing inspection procedures and standards as necessary to assure airworthiness and regulatory compliance of new aircraft
  • Work to ensure that standards and regulations established by the XOJET Aviation, General Maintenance Manual, FAA Directives and Regulations and Manufacturers' Service Bulletins are complied with as new aircraft are added to the fleet
  • Ability to travel frequently to aircraft locations, MX vendors for inspections, reviews, meet with leasing entities, and to represent XOJET Aviation in aircraft lease transactions
Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:

  • Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certificate preferred
  • Minimum five years corporate aviation experience
  • At least 2 years of conducting aircraft inspections
  • Must have a general working knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR’s)
  • Must be familiar with computerized maintenance tracking programs (i.e. CAMP)
  • Must be familiar with turbine powered aircraft
  • Must be able to read and understand technical publications and drawings
  • Motivated to stay current on applicable technical material and study guides provided for that purpose
  • Very detail oriented and ability to multitask
  • Effectively communicate to team members, vendors, maintenance personnel and FAA representatives
  • Basic knowledge of business processes, exceptional organization, and record keeping skills required
  • Ability to function effectively independently or as a team member
  • Successful candidate will be highly motivated individual and a self-starter who works effectively under pressure and within time constraints
  • Ability to travel
