Tower Aviation Management, LLC (DBA A2V), a boutique Part 135 aircraft charter company headquartered in Austin, Texas with a small expanding fleet of Hawker 800XPs, is looking for an experienced Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) maintenance technician to join the A2V team. We are willing to provide appropriate training as needed. Position will be based at Austin Executive Airport (KEDC) with travel to Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (KAUS) and additional locations where maintenance and inspections are being performed. We will offer relocation assistance for the right qualified candidate.

Qualifications
Aircraft Mechanic with Airframe & Powerplant ratings, Airframe tools, jet maintenance experience, high school diploma or GED, ability to pass FAA DOT drug screening, and ability to work in the USA.
Duties
Ensure aircraft operation by completing preventative maintenance requirements, following manufacturer's manuals and instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, repairing equipment and inventories, and evaluating A2V equipment and techniques.
Comply with Federal Aviation Administration and other legal requirements.
Report to Director of Maintenance
Skills
Jet experience, quality orientated, documentation, computer, attention to detail, experience with mechanical inspection tools, and power tools.
Preferred skills and experiences
FAA inspection authorization (IA) or meet the requirements and obtain within 1 year after employment.
Graduate from a Technical College or accredited program or prior Military maintenance training.
Minimum three year experience of line maintenance work, five year experience is preferred.
Experience on business jet aircraft with formal training certification (Hawker 800XP preferred).
Experience with CAMP Systems, CESCOM or other maintenance tracking programs. aircraft maintenance management products.
Must be able to assume responsibility when delegated by management, supervisors and trainers.
Must be able to work under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Must display the maturity of action and judgment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Physical and or additional requirements
Must be available to work at rotating shifts, long hours and weekend work as required with limited advance notice.
Must be able to travel in support of our fleet & possess a current passport or qualify and obtain one upon employment to travel internationally.
Must be able to lift, stoop, bend down, crawl, and maneuver in tight spaces.
Physically able to handle items weighing up to 40 pounds unassisted.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
