Sun Country is hiring Seasonal A&P Mechanics to work in our FL locations! Our Seasonal employees will be in active status and work variable hours during Sun Country peak business seasons. Candidates must have availability to work variable hours. Sun Country will provide advance notice when seasonal needs change and seasonal needs will be ending.
The primary responsibility of the Seasonal Aircraft Mechanic is to ensure the ongoing airworthiness of the Sun Country Airlines’ fleet of aircraft.

Technicians are assigned to both line and hangar maintenance, there is the ability to get certifications (tow, engine run, taxi, airworthiness release, ETOPS and LLM/CAT) in a short amount of time. Technician are given responsibilities to exercise their skills in many facets within aircraft maintenance. The opportunity to become a rover/flight mechanic within two years; this will allow you to travel on and repair the aircraft wherever the aircraft flies to. Job Duties
- Troubleshoot and repair aircraft to Sun Country Airlines standards.
- Correctly complete paperwork for maintenance performed on aircraft.
- Enter all log items, NRTCs, and task cards into TRAX.
- Identify and report problems that could impact daily maintenance operations.
- Communicate with Maintenance Station Supervisor during all maintenance procedures.
- Maintain an up-to-date OJT file.
- Assist with training of newly hired individuals, as necessary.
- Accomplish housekeeping of maintenance facilities, as required.
- Move and park aircraft as operations warrant.
- Move and position ground equipment as needed for the maintenance operation.
- Conduct all tasks in a safe and efficient manner complying with all local, state, and federal safety and health regulatory requirements, programmatic standards, and with any internal policies and procedures identified by Sun Country Airlines.

The qualifications we are looking for in an A&P Mechanic include:
- Must be highly motivated and a self-starter
- Excellent communication, organizational, problem solving skills
- Work effectively with minimal supervision under stressful situations

- A&P license required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Acceptable driving record required
- Must have valid driver’s license
- Must be able to obtain a SIDA badge and Customs Seal
- Working Hours/Working Schedule: Full Variable Availability
Preferred requirements
- 2 years 737NG jet experience preferred
- 737NG Familiarization Class preferred
- 2 years experience in aircraft structural repair preferred
- 2 years line maintenance preferred
- Valid US Passport preferred
