Job description
Market is a modern Italian restaurant located in the heart of Venice. We are looking for an AM Lead to work under Michelin-trained chef Brad Willits and lead our morning prep team.
Key tasks involve:
- Starting up the prep cooks with the their daily prep tasks.
- Accepting, counting and putting away deliveries.
- Leading the morning team.
Outside of the obvious cooking skills needed; knife skills, safety consciousness, we are looking for a candidate:
- With a natural ability to lead.
- With the ability to get the most out of other people.
- That proactively works to make the environment and the team better.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
Shift:
- Day shift
- Morning shift
Weekly day range:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Venice, CA 90291: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Experience:
- Restaurant experience: 1 year (Preferred)
