Job description

We are seeking an Assistant for our small family law firm. The Assistant will be responsible for administrative tasks such as maintaining files, entering billing, and providing administrative support to the attorneys and paralegal. The ideal candidate should be an organized self-starter and possess an eye for detail. We are looking for someone who can remain calm under pressure, work independently and work well as part of a team. This is a part-time position that has the opportunity for advancement with a dynamic, growing firm.

Responsibilities:

• Provide assistance to the attorneys and paralegal.
• Enter attorney billing.
• Filing into client files and prepare files for hearing.
• Email/Call clients re: past due balances.
• Closing files.
• Return voicemails.
• Scan in mail and email to CL's.
• Update Client list and check court docket for clients.
• Data entry.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
