The Analyst, Ops Planning & Analysis will help drive the success of the business by providing business analyses and analytical solutions to guide management and operational decision-making. The individual will maintain and enhance existing dashboards and reports as well as work on projects dealing with key performance metrics tracking. This role will also work under supervision to gather and compile data in order to produce new BI content, dashboards, and reports.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Use business intelligence data and tools to maintain and update existing reporting/analytic content and visualizations.
• Use business intelligence data and tools to produce new reporting/analytic content and visualizations under supervision
• Works to acquire knowledge of industry and business trends through communication with internal subject matter experts, artifacts, and other informed individuals.
• Work under supervision to gather data from a variety of sources to produce new reporting/analytic content using SQL, SAS, Snowflake, or other extraction tools.
• Works as part of a team to analyze trends and make actionable recommendations.

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Economics, Accounting, Finance, or Computer and Information Science required.

Knowledge and skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to collect and compile relevant data
• Extremely organized with great attention to detail
• Excellent ability to analyze information and think systematically
• Strong business analysis skills
• Works well independently and as part of a team
• Thorough understanding of the company’s business processes and the industry at large

Technical Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
• Advanced skills in Excel are required
• Understanding of relational databases
• Strong knowledge of programming language such as VBA, SQL, Snowflake or Python
• Experience in one of the advanced visualization tools is a plus: Power BI, Tableau, etc

Job experience

• Two (2) years working with data and analytics

Experience equivalent to the education requirement may be accepted in lieu of the education requirement.
