SCHEDULE
LICENSURE / CERTIFICATION
We have operating rooms located at the Porter campus and the HealthPlex campus. The Porter campus has 10 operating rooms with services ranging from urology, general, neurology, and bariatrics. The HealthPlex campus has 6 operating rooms in the main OR with services of orthopedics, general, and ENT, 1 hybrid room for cardiac cases, and 3 operating rooms for GYN and Robotic cases. Our Anesthesia Techs demonstrate professionalism, teamwork, autonomy, and critical thinking skills. We orient new anesthesia techs to all of our surgical areas by providing an extensive orientation with a dedicated preceptor in which anesthesia techs become proficient in all of our service lines. Responsibilities:
- Assists Anesthesia care providers to prepare for different types of cases by preparing anesthesia equipment and maintaining supplies.
- Assists in maintaining inventory for the Anesthesia Department, including Main OR, FBC, GYN Surgery and MRI.
- The responsibilities of this position have a direct relationship to the safety and well being of the patient.
EDUCATION
- High school education or equivalent required.
EXPERIENCE
- Requires six (6) months experience in a medical setting to include patient contact.
- Prefer surgical services experience.

SCHEDULE
- Monday-Friday, 1030-1900
LICENSURE / CERTIFICATION
Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care.- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained thru re-training for duration of employment.
Compensation/Benefits
- $10.44 - $17.05/hr depending on previous work experience.
