Job description

Participates as the primary assistant to Anesthesia for procedures in the Operating Room at various locations across UW Health including Inpatient, PACU, and Madison Surgery Center. Performs the role of anesthesia technician by using principles of aseptic technique to establish and maintain a sterile field. Prepares complex equipment and supplies for hemodynamic monitoring. This varies based on location and may include peripheral arterial and pulmonary artery catheter transducers, EKG, pulse oximeter, and nerve simulators. Facilitates the efficient completion of the surgery schedule.

Shift Length: 8 X5 HOURSEOW, first to float

QUALIFICATIONS

• One (1) year of experience in a ACUTE CARE setting
• Basic Life Support/CPR or obtained within 6 months of hire.
• Associate Degree as Anesthesia Technologist

Pay: $1,800.00 - $2,000.00 per week
